Open auditions (Equity/non) are being held, by appointment only, for Poke Until Wince, part of the FringeNYC 2009 Festival. Equity showcase approval pending. 1st Rehearsal: June 27, 2009. Expected run: 5 performances during the festival, August 14 - 30. Poke Until Wince is a new play making its premiere at the Fringe and is a dark comedy about how people hurt each other in relationships. It’s made up of six scenes, each with a man and a woman in a single location. Each actor appears in two scenes. Producer/Writer: Matthew Chesmore.
